Space: Kaarina's knittings

I found a good online game from the net. It's name is Tales of Pirates. I have been playing it a lot. This is as I haven't been able to knitt, do bead work or stitch with my sore hands.

I also got a new (my first) wheelchair to help me. I don't use it a lot. Still it is good to have when I can't use my hands and my feet are aching.

Tomorrow we are going to a 24 hour cruise with Ari and I will use my wheels there.

 

I will try to write here more often from now on.

 I had a good month. I have been feeling quite good and happy. Had a few flue's. Got well quite quickly.

I knitted a lot and I also got new yarns from Sales.

 I have miss placed one yarn and that make's me angry as I started a new pair of socks and I need that yarn to finnish my socks. I believe I must buy some of that yarn again.....the only thing is that I'm not able to get the same color so my socks are gonna be quite different .

 I did start to knitt a pillowcase for my chair at our terrace. I hope to get it ready for summer. Started also to knitt a large shawl from the yellow acrylic yarn. I might need to buy more yarn for it...... still that will be needed at our summer house.

 The photo's of the yarn I bought can be seen in my photo's and there are also pictures from most of my knittings WIPs and finnished.

 Yesterday we had a craft meeting in town and we had really fun time there. There was a reporter also interviewing us. She asked if we relate to stitch and bitches. The truth is that we don't.

 To us it is easiest to meet in bublic restaurant. We had a kind of sewing clubs in Finland when my mother was young and they met in home's. That had a kind of seniority image and as we didn't feel the need to do our crafts in secret. We wanted to bring knitting and other crafts our to the open for all to see. We wanted to show that it's not only seniors that make things with their hands so we meet out in the open.
